Overview

Deborah is a Litigation Associate at the firm. She has a broad litigation background and extensive pre-trial litigation experience in both state and federal courts, allowing her to effectively represent the firm’s clients. Deborah’s current practice is focused on the defense of medical professionals and healthcare providers against medical and professional negligence claims.

Prior to joining the firm, Deborah worked as a trial attorney in the insurance defense industry where she gained extensive experience defending matters involving personal injury, catastrophic accidents, uninsured/underinsured claims, warranty liability, product liability and insurance coverage disputes. She also appeared twice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Outside of work, Deborah is married with 2 daughters, and is a “dog mom” to Milo, a feisty Havanese. Deborah loves to travel, cook for family and friends, and is addicted to Orange Theory.

Recognition and Involvement

During law school, Deborah served as a member of the Moot Court Executive Board. At graduation, she was honored for her advocacy skills by being appointed to the Order of the Barristers and was awarded the Robert W. Miller Award for her contributions to Moot Court.

Deborah has served as a judge for the Delaware High School Mock Trial Competition and volunteered as a team coach for The Tatnall School and Archmere Academy.

Deborah also spent many years as a board member and volunteer for the Delaware Children’s Theatre, Prevent Child Abuse Delaware and Variety, the Children’s Charity.
