Alexander W. Howard

Alex Howard is an Associate at the firm whose practice is focused on representing hospital systems, private practices, doctors and other providers in complex healthcare litigation and risk-sensitive matters. His work centers primarily on the defense of medical negligence claims, where he assists clients in navigating high-stakes disputes with a practical, detail-oriented approach. Beyond healthcare litigation, Alex has also defended matters involving legal malpractice and other professional liability issues, premises liability, third-party liability, and contract disputes, giving him broad experience in his young career.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with family and friends, adventuring outdoors, volunteering in the community, traveling, cooking, swimming and playing chess.

Prior to joining the firm, Alex earned his Juris Doctorate from Widener University Delaware Law School (2024), where he was honored with the Thomas P. Lomax and Nicholas Theodore Memorial Award. He is also a proud alumnus of Gettysburg College (2020).

During his law school tenure, Alex was actively engaged in pro bono and community services, amassing over 400 hours served and was honored for his pro bono contributions. He credits this to the values his family instilled in him and the call to support those in need. Alex is also an accomplished swimmer at the high school and college levels, and an Eagle Scout.
